Trial subjects
The subjects were split into male pattern alopecia, female pattern baldness and Alopecia Areata with mild to moderate, but with no complete hair-loss. Male pattern alopecia was broken down into Ogata’s classification (Type C, Type O, Type M, Type M+O).
Subject Types and numbers
Male pattern alopecia type O : 16 patients (15.5%)
Male pattern alopecia type C : 12 patients (11.7%)
Male pattern alopecia type M : 8 patients (7.8 %)
Male pattern alopecia type M + O : 42 patients (40.8%)
Female pattern alopecia: 18 patients ( 17.5% )
Telogen Effluvium : 1 patient (1%)
Alopecia Areata : 6 patients (5.8%)
Trial period and Clinical products
From April 1999 to May 2002 (six months for all subjects), at-home care products have been used.
How to use
- Damo Clinic Shampoo : shampooing every day.
- Damo Special Tonic : Twice a day (morning, evening) is applied to the hair loss site, usage of one time, is 2 ~ 3cc.

95 subjects (92%) showed the marketd hair growth and the others showed the decrease of hair loss.
